We’re offering no-touch service for rental clients by reservation only.  Our team has worked hard to come up with a plan that will give our employees and you the confidence that Coastal Expeditions is a safe place for families to recreate on the water.   

KAYAK AND PADDLEBOARD RENTALS AT SHEM CREEK

• Reserve your gear by sending us a text to (843)884-7684. Let us know your name, the number of people in your group, your boat needs (single or tandem kayaks or SUPs) and when you’d like to come.  Our team will get right back with you to set up your reservation! We’ll be open from 10-6 Saturday and Sunday, with reservations available every half hour from 10-4.  N0 walk ups, please.

• We are only accepting credit card payment at this time to eliminate unnecessary contact.

• All gear (kayaks, SUPs, PFDs and paddles) will be sanitized before and after each use with appropriate disinfectants.

• We require that employees and customers wear a face covering while they are on our campus. If you don’t have one, we’ll have them available for purchase. Once you are on the water, there is no need to wear it, but when you return and are being helped off the water, please put it back on. It’s a minor inconvenience that will allow us to provide you safe service. Masks, handkerchiefs and buffs are all good options.

• Please practice responsible social distancing, staying at least 6-feet apart from other groups.
• We have added outdoor hand-washing stations for you to use when you arrive/leave at our campus.
