We’re turning our Folly Outpost (2223 Folly Road, at the Crosby’s Dock) over to the dogs on Sunday, August 19 of our fourth annual Folly Doggy Paddle, benefitting the Charleston Animal Society.
Bring in a big bag of dog or cat food (25+ pounds) and you can kayak or paddleboard for FREE! If you don’t have the grub, just pay for a rental and we’ll donate 100% percent the the Charleston Animal Society for them to use as they need.
Have a friendly, water-loving dog? They can come along for the adventure! Only small dogs (under 25 lbs) will be allowed to paddleboard though because the big dogs tear up the boards.
Our friends from Audubon South Carolina will be coming out to share information about how dog owners can protect nesting and resting birds on the beach. And King of Pops will have cool treat for people and pups!
Everyone leaves with a doggy bag with goodies like dog bones, special deals at local restaurants and other fun things.
Walk-ups are welcome, but we recommend that you reserve your spots online. You’ll hold your spot with a refundable $35 deposit (one per group). If you’re a no-show, we’ll keep the deposit and give it to Charleston Animal Society. If you need to cancel, just call us up and we’ll refund the deposit (we’re understanding folks! ).
