Celebrate the Beginning of the School Year with a Trip to Bulls Island!
Aboard our Magic School Boat for a cruise through the salt marsh estuary and to the beach on Bulls Island. On the island you will have some free time to enjoy the beach and look for shells along the way.
Two fully funded trips are available for any teachers that currently teach students K-12 in South Carolina.
Boat Cruise Location, Date, and Time
Location: Garris Landing (498 Bulls Island Road, Awendaw, SC, 29429)
August 6th - 3:15pm-6:15pm
August 20th - 5pm-8pm
*Arrive 30 minutes early to park and walk down the dock for departure
Things to Know
- Please bring teacher ID or some way to indicate you are currently a teacher
- Dress for the weather (sun protection, water shoes, hats, sunglasses, etc.)
- Bring a camera and binoculars if you have them
- Boat is a fully-covered, Coast Guard-certified vessel
- Rain or Shine Event
