Join the Coastal Expeditions Foundation and Charleston Waterkeeper on a Shem Creek Sweep! Shem Creek is one of Charleston’s busiest recreational waterways and that puts a lot of pressure on this natural resource. As we head into summer, the creek becomes a haven for dolphins and manatees with their calves, nesting birds and other wildlife. Let’s do a creek sweep to make sure its clean for this “nursery of the sea.”
