Middleton Place Boat Tour | NEW! Book Now

COMBINATION TICKET INCLUDES:
GENERAL ADMISSION + BOAT CRUISE

After a stroll through the gardens, step onto the boat and into the wild. View the terraces and butterfly lakes from the protected Ashley River corridor and learn about the natural history of this exquisite blackwater ecosystem.

Exploring Middleton Place by water with Coastal Expeditions naturalists provides a unique and breathtaking perspective on its natural and cultural history.

Beginning at its origin in the Wassamaw and Great Cypress Swamps, the tidal, blackwater Ashley River serves as the northern boundary of Middleton Place—a National Historic Landmark and America’s Oldest Landscaped Gardens. This State Scenic River provides habitat for indigenous flora and fauna such as American alligators, great blue herons, and bald eagles along its wildflower and rice-laden banks.

Offered Thursday-Sunday each week.  Give us a call to book a private tour.
