Kiawah River Sunset Dolphin Cruise
Gather family and friends on a relaxing wildlife-spotting tour down the Kiawah River. This sunset cruise begins at the boat landing at Kiawah River, an island village in the Charleston countryside on Johns Island. This beautiful setting provides the perfect setting to begin the tour.
Resident dolphins are likely to make an appearance, too, as they slowly work their way through the estuary to hunt. With a dedicated naturalist on board, you’re sure to learn something you didn’t know and see something you may not have noticed- like a deer feeding along the edge of the river or marsh sparrows hidden in the grass.

WHAT TO WEAR
Dress for the weather. A light windbreaker jacket is often welcome, even on warm days.
WHAT TO BRING
Drinking water. Optional: binoculars, camera, thermos of coffee or cocoa, snacks.
ACTIVITY LEVEL
This tour is a boat cruise and is suitable for most ages and abilities.
WEATHER
Weather (thunderstorms or high winds) may impact this excursion. Cancellations usually occur due to lightning, thunder or high winds and we will make sure to reschedule your group if needed. Our general cancellation policies apply unless our experts determine it is potentially unsafe or unwise to venture out. In the event that we decide to cancel due to weather, we will make every effort to call you at least two hours before your departure and help you reschedule or credit/refund the full cost of your trip.
GRATUITY
Gratuity is not included in your tour price. Our guides go above and beyond to make sure you have a fantastic time out on the water! Average gratuity ranges from 15%–25% of your tour cost based on your experience. It is not required, but always greatly appreciated!
