Cape Romain Full Moon Cruise

We’re heading into Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge to explore this expansive estuary at dusk to watch the moon rise! We love the richness of this saltwater ecosystem with the vibrantly-colored sunsets and abundant wildlife.
This time of year, the protected creeks that weave through the estuary are teeming with activity. As the light fades, pods of dolphins laze through the creeks with their calves and often breach near the boat to check us out. As the sun sets, black skimmers zip along the water’s surface to scoop up small fish and brown pelicans dive into schools of fish. Egrets, ibises and herons fly back to their roosts for the evening, gathering together in trees.
Couple this beauty with a moon rising over the horizon and you’ve got an evening that is unforgettable. Gather friends and family for a laid back cruise of the Lowcountry’s National Wildlife Refuge!

This tour is a boat cruise and is suitable for most ages and abilities.
WHAT TO WEAR
Dress for the weather. A light windbreaker jacket is often welcome, even on warm days.
WHAT TO BRING
Drinking water (available for purchase).
WEATHER
Weather (thunderstorms or high winds) may impact this excursion. Cancellations usually occur due to lightning, thunder or high winds and we will make sure to reschedule your group if needed. Our general cancellation policies apply unless our experts determine it is potentially unsafe or unwise to venture out. In the event that we decide to cancel due to weather, we will make every effort to call you at least two hours before your departure and help you reschedule or credit/refund the full cost of your trip.
GRATUITY
Gratuity is not included in your tour price. Our guides go above and beyond to make sure you have a fantastic time out on the water! Average gratuity ranges from 15%–25% of your tour cost based on your experience. It is not required, but always greatly appreciated!
