Compiled by Katie Morrison

Cody and Tayt are officially checked off to lead half-day tours at Shem and IOP!  If you see them, say congratulations and good work!  More check-offs in the near future for newly trained guides.

Annie, Jackie and Capt. Nick found TINY box turtles on Bulls Island and they may be the cutest things we’ve ever seen.

TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) had a Young Adults Experience at Wild Dunes Resort last week and we led expeditions and workshops for them all week.  Thank you to all of the guides and leaders that helped make this an important and unique experience for them.   Over the week, they kayaked blackwater, hiked Bulls Island, did a harbor cruise and had a career development workshop at HQ where they learned about having a small business with Chris and the team.

Olivia saw a swallow-tailed kite this week!  Be on the lookout, especially on your blackwater trips.  They will become more abundant as the season moves on.

The team building day at St. Phillips Island was a blast and it was great seeing the team at Coastal Expeditions South.  Saw dolphins, alligators, raccoon and a wild Capt. Henry.

Our newest vessel, Bird, took a trip out to Middleton Place with Charleston Place and reconnected this historic landmark with the Ashley River by boat.

We have new signs out at Bulls Island for PARKING.  Please make sure that all of your tours (paddle & hikes, beach drops, regular ferry, etc.)  park in the designated area because parking gets crazy out there this time of year!
