Departing from our campus on Shem Creek for a camping trip or a sunrise kayak tour?  You’ll want to be close, and we’re in the heart of Mount Pleasant.  You can’t go wrong with any of the hotels in the area, but here are a few choices.

A short Uber ride to our Shem Creek HQ where our REI Adventures trips depart, this is a fantastic place to stay if you’re looking for all the amenities of a resort.  Beautiful views of the harbor, on-site restaurants, room service and a spa await– and you can often get deals that compete with the chain hotels, especially during the week.

Reasonable rates, outdoor pool and in-house restaurant are available at this this hotel just down the street from our HQ.  It’s situated well if you want to take in downtown Charleston the night before your expedition (or walk the Ravenel Bridge!)
