Administrative Manager position at Coastal Expeditions

Coastal Expeditions is seeking a full time Administrative Manager for our headquarters office on Shem Creek!
Weekdays will be primarily administrative tasks, and on weekends you will assume the role of manager on duty. Employees enjoy a fun, relaxed working atmosphere with amazing views and unlimited access to kayaks and SUPs!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiry emails
- Check clients in and receive payment for tours and rentals
- Schedule kayak tours, private charters and shop shifts
- Work alongside management team to develop the programming calendar throughout the year
- Create and edit tour pages on WordPress website
- Send reminder emails to staff and clients
- Confirm details for all upcoming tours
- Manage contracts and partnership agreements for multiple companies
- Assist with helping clients on and off the water
- Work alongside the education coordinator to schedule field trips and other education-based activities
- Monitor the weather and reschedule tours and clients accordingly
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new guides and staff
- Act as manager on duty for all employees on weekends

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
March-November: Wednesday – Sunday 8am-6pm
December-February: Wednesday – Friday 10am-3pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am – 4pm
Salary Range: $35,000-$40,000/year based on experience, 2 weeks PTO, and 3% simpleIRA match after 30 days of employment
