Our talented and dedicated staff is the main ingredient in providing the highest quality Lowcountry experience. Coming from all different backgrounds and areas, our guides will not only manage for your comfort and safety on the water, but will weave a picture of the Lowcountry that includes ecology, biology geology, human history, culture, and conservation issues. All of our full time guides are college graduates with a hunger to continue the study and understanding of the natural world, and share their observations with our clients. Meet our Team-

Mission Statement: The purpose of Coastal Expeditions, Inc. is to promote knowledge of and interest in the South Carolina coastal environment. South Carolina's 187 mile long coastal zone, rich in both variety and abundance of resources, is most fully appreciated by those who have gained experiential awareness of the coastal waters through some degree of immersion. While the coastal ecosystem - the estuaries, bays, rivers and creeks that compromise the area where the land meets the sea - may not appear fragile, it is indeed easily alterable. Introducing visitors and residents to some of the coastal region's most pristine areas, while ensuring that despite activity the areas remain pristine, requires the use of minimal impact vessels. Promoting an awareness of the coast's beauty, its function and its fragility in a manner that is safe and protective of its clientele, in turn encourages broader stewardship of the coast's irreplaceable resources. Enabling a broader range of residents and visitors to experience the coastal ecosystem firsthand is the primary and driving force behind Coastal Expeditions, Inc.
