Kayak and Equipment Sales
Over a decade of service in the Low Country makes us your local information resource. Our small retail shop sells kayaks, car top carriers, paddling gear, guidebooks, maps and charts for all of your outfitting needs. We also have Coastal Expeditions caps, visors, bucket hats, sunglass straps, and water bottles available at all of our locations. Although we are a kayak dealer for many brands, we do not keep an inventory of new boats on site. We sell kayaks by special order, to ensure that you get the color and outfitting options customized. If you are interested in any of the boat models we use on tour, you can try before you buy. Pay for a 1/2 rental and try out a few different boats, if you end up ordering one we will subtract the cost of the rental. Buy a new expedition quality plastic, fiberglass or kevlar kayak and receive a free touring paddle or private 2 hour lesson. Come talk with our knowledgeable and friendly sales staff for advice about boat selection or just get some trip suggestions.

Used Kayak and Gear Sale
In order to ensure quality, up-to-date gear, we sell most of our kayak and gear inventory at the end of each season. Closed cockpit touring kayaks, Sit-On-Tops, recreational kayaks, and canoes are available. They range from almost new to the slightly abused, and are priced accordingly. All boats and gear are subject to routine maintenance, and full inspection and repairs before sale. This is also a great time to grab pfd's, paddles, drybags, bilge pumps, and paddle floats. Come by in November to check out the pre-sale inventory. The sale normally takes place the first Saturday and Sunday of December.

Our shop is located on Shem Creek between the Shem Creek Bar & Grill and the dry stack marina, approximately 3 miles from downtown Charleston.

"Your staff is excellent, very knowledgeable and most helpful. Your enthusiasm is the final reason I chose to buy a kayak from you."
